CONTENTS: At last, here is a site that makes it easy to find marriage records. Organized by state, each state page offers a search tool, links to other marriage record pages and helpful information about finding and obtaining records. It even tells you where to find records for different date ranges which, of course, varies greatly by state. The best part is that the search tool is the same on each page, so there is no need to figure out 50 different search formats. http://www.marriagedatabase.com/ Here's a site, provided by Lewis Armstrong at Emporia State University in Kansas, that lists links to electronic journals and Web sites by category. There are some good links under the Business category. At the bottom of the page, Armstrong also provides a huge number of links to search engines and genealogy sites. Under Dictionaries Plus, link to dictionaries, thesauruses, quotation sites and more. Under Newspapers, click on Meta Newspapers to get a large number of links to sites that link to many, many newspapers. The Grant Sources link also provides connections to some helpful sites. Officially, this is Steven Bell's Keeping Up Web site. Bell, director of the Paul J. Gutman Library at Philadelphia University, provides this page to help librarians keep up with Web resources and technology. There are a lot of resources here that can be helpful to researchers, so explore away on a rainy day. http://staff.philau.edu/bells/keepup/
