RESEARCH ROUNDUP: BUSINESS FILINGS DATABASES UPDATED
Kathy Biehl, attorney, Web legal guru and food critic has done her annual update of links to state business filing Web sites. For those of you who use this site regularly, the update was seamless as the URL remained the same. Researchers unfamiliar with the site will be delighted to have a quick and easy way to access business filings in your home state and across the U.S. Most of the state business sites offer at least some free data access, while a few are fee-for-service only.

A PORTRAIT OF "GENERATION NEXT"
The Pew Research Center for People and the Press, in association with McNeil/Lehrer Productions and The Generation Next Initiative, have produced this insightful study into how people in the 18 to 25 age group view their lives, futures and politics. The survey results may be helpful to alumni programs trying to engage recently graduated constituents, to annual funds that want to encourage giving immediately after graduation and to researchers who want to encourage development officers to connect with the next generation of wealth holders -- whether it is inherited or earned.

You can also look up the top ten yielding stocks for the week for various industries or the top ten companies by industry according to revenue growth.
