This issue marks the conclusion of the series on prospect research Web sites. Here are just a few of the many commercial sites that are prospect researcher-friendly.

WALL STREET JOURNAL EXECUTIVE LIBRARY PROSPECT RESEARCH

It's a bit crowded and hard to read, but this page has a lot of really excellent links. A good site to use if you don't want to create a personalized set of bookmarks.

BENTZ WHALEY FLESSNER

BWF provides links to fund-raising associations and councils like CASE, APRA and the National Committee on Planned Giving.

You also may want to check out BWF's APRA presentations:

You especially might want to make some time to peruse the Guide toInternet and Online Services, which is a huge bibliography of Web, online, subscription and hard copy sources specifically targeted to prospect researcher needs.

INTERNET INTELLIGENCE INDEX

This site is offered by Fuld & Co., an established and well- respected (revered even!) competitive intelligence firm. Not surprisingly, competitive intelligence professionals use many of the same sites that prospect researchers know and love. Check out the industry specific links, which can be very helpful when you are trying to determine whether the timing is right for a corporate or stockholder solicitation.
