CONTENTS: CASE has put articles by data mining guru Peter Wylie on its site. Find out how to set up a simple scoring system, why you should analyze your call center data and more. http://www.case.org/Content/Miscellaneous/Display.cfm?contentItemID=4458 Looking for a video clip about a prospect? The relatively new BlinkX promises seven million hours of searchable video content. Reviewers state it is the largest search engine for video on the Web. If you can't find that prospect clip there, tell your DO it just ain't on the Web. It's often hard to find value information for small, private businesses. GlobalBX is a free tool that nicely categorizes business for sale by categories and subcategories. It must be called lite because it's lite on revenue and net profit figures, but it does have the asking price and often the number of employees, length of time in business and some other information that you can use as a basis for comparison to a prospect's business. There are some really interesting businesses for sale out there! If you receive a file with a .RAR extension and wonder what to do with it, never fear, 7-Zip is here. RAR files compress files like a zip file, only more densely and can be used to compress really big files such as movies and MP3s. 7-Zip's free utility can create and unrar (well, after all you unzip a .zip file!) files for you quickly and easily. It even promises a better compression ratio for .zip files than WinZip. Thanks to Oregon Health & Science University Foundation's fabulous IT guru Art Frank for this helpful tool.
