FACSNET DAILY NEWS BRIEFING

The Foundation for American Communications (FACS) is a nonprofit organization with a mission "to improve the quality of information reaching the public through the news." One of the ways that FACS does this is to offer the FACSNET Web site. One of its key online resources is the FACSNET Daily News Briefing, which goes beyond the typical headline news resource. Each story includes the headline, a summary, a news link, FACSNET News Sources and Internet Resources related to the story for background material. FACS covers topics like science, economics, community and public policy. "The news briefing was developed by Bruce Murray and Dave Farrell, and is produced Monday through Friday by Nat Bulkley in association with Lone Buffalo, Inc."
