Bad timing on CNN's part -- just in time for Hispanic Heritage month, CNN closes the doors on its Spanish-language news site CNNenEspanol.com. The cash-losing Web site has morphed into a news information site about scheduling, programming and anchors. The Atlanta-based company is a unit of Turner Broadcasting System, a division of Time Warner.

Maybe CNN decided it couldn't compete with EFE, which is considered the premier Spanish- language news agency, with its more than one hundred years of reporting the news.
