LATIN AMERICA DATA BASE

The Latin America Data Base (LADB) is the first Internet news service in English to cover Latin America. Available since 1986, the LADB publishes three weekly electronic news bulletins about Mexico (SourceMex), Central America and the Caribbean including Cuba (NotiCen) and South America (NotiSur).

The searchable archives of over 24,000 articles dates back to its inception in 1986. Updated weekly, the archive search is free but access is by subscription only. Capabilities allow queries by article, text or both, within select news sources and limited by date. Also, its Economic Journals can be searched in a similar manner.
