The Internet Prospector serves the nonprofit fundraising community. 

A WORD FROM THE EDITOR

All good things must come to an end and, for the Internet Prospector, this is the time.

We wanted to go out on a happy note, so chose to leave the party during the celebration of our 14th anniversary. Internet Prospector first appeared on the scene in November 1994. Every issue since then has been produced by a small group of volunteers at institutions and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States and, in some cases, the world. Each month we have reviewed Web sites, written our own beats, served as co-editors and taken turns as editor-in-chief.

I want to mention and thank the current co-editors. Some of us have been with the Internet Prospector since the beginning and have become fast friends, even though we have never all been in the same room together. The current editors, in alpha order, are Beverly Goodwin, Cathy Hampton, Cecilia Hogan, Chris Mildner and Pam Patton, with special kudos to our talented Web coordinator, Sheila Faris-Penn.

Some of you are former members of the Internet Prospector crew. Many, many thanks for your valued contributions. Find the writers, editors and Web wizards here.

Our Web site will not be updated, but (for several years) you will be able to use the Pico Search feature on our home page to retrieve archived articles related to your search term.

Thank you, readers, researchers and contributors. Good luck, happy trails and success to you in your prospecting. We know how much your institutions and nonprofit organizations depend on you.
