Continue your education about private company research with Part II of Bev's work on this hot prospector's topic. Bev guides us to the next stop on the private company trail: going public. You'll find plenty of handy tools and useful sites to support some of your trail work. Is that prospect an inventor? Check out the People section for some interesting leads. Are you in a quandary about where to turn to value those private company assets? Pam Smith's "Value This" piece at the Special Projects link is a gold mine of leads. This issue of Internet Prospector also gives you a great collection of Web-based calculators to compute those private resources, an international mapping site and some help with mailing to prospects outside the USA. Many of you are now closely linked to the electronic version of your hometown paper. Take a look at Randy's view of the news portal phenomena. As always, there are important foundations -- two are Canadian -- to add to your collection.
