A WORD FROM THE EDITOR

Internet Prospector (IP) editors took what is becoming an annual summer vacation in August. Now with fall upon us, your IP editors are back to work. We dropped our new backpacks and sharpened our e-pencils just so we can send you our latest Web finds. The change of seasons heralds a busy time for many nonprofits. Researchers will find useful resources for identifying new prospects in this month’s issue. Look for funding opportunities for young singers, new Americans, environmental agencies. Mine for prospects in, oh, the mining industry as well as Brazil, Canada, the Middle East and New Zealand. Don’t miss the chance to review technology and teen capitalist news or to brush up on your skills for reading corporate financial and U.S. Securities and Exchange information. So, shake the sand out of your hair, rinse off that sunscreen and pull on your socks and shoes again to join us back at the virtual research desk for a new round of philanthropic opportunities.
