A WORD FROM THE EDITOR
Chicago, Chicago . . . many researchers are off to the toddlin' town in mid August for the annual conference of APRA, the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement. To help them make the best of their time there, we're focusing on Chicago this month, for work AND for play. Those staying home will be envious of their colleagues in Chitown, but will find lots of resources for research in this issue.
Maryrose Larkin, editor for the Foundation/Grants beat, leaves us after this issue to pursue her first love, poetry. (No wonder her Foundation features sounded so good!)
Maryrose jumped in at a critical point last year and continued the beat in her own fine style. Many thanks for a good run, Maryrose, and much success to you on your new path.
