Ann Castle modestly called her compilation
of resources about philanthropic women "a bibliography and resource list"
when it was, in fact, a mega-list of links and references unmatched on
the Internet. You can see Ann's hard work at:
For many of us, Ann's page was one of the first added to now deep collections of bookmarks. Good Web sites have come and gone, some deleted and long forgotten, but Ann's page stayed where we put it, didn't it? We Internet Prospectors built this issue as a tribute to Ann and the legacy she established as a great collector of resources about women and philanthropy. We tip our electronic caps to Ann and celebrate the place women have in both our virtual and real circles of development research due to her fine work.
