The Internet Prospector serves the nonprofit fundraising community. 

With this issue, we say a reluctant and sorrowful good-bye to Pamela J. Smith, our longtime News editor. She has been a great contributor, providing our readers with savvy reviews of Web news pages from around the world. She also helped Internet Prospector grow and mature as the Web has evolved. We will miss her terribly as an editor, but she will always remain a friend and bean emeritus member of the team.

Next month will see some changes to Internet Prospector editor assignments. Bev Goodwin, who has been our Corporations editor for a long time, moves to the News beat. Cathy Hampton, who became our Foundations editor two years ago, will take on Corporations. And we will welcome David Clayton as our new Foundations editor. David not only brings us his excellent research and reporting skills, but also adds a new geographic dimension to our crew. He is based in exciting and exotic Rio de Janeiro where he works for the Dreams Can Be Foundation.
