Daunted by language problems when you dabble in international prospect research? You may enter Sweden with English at the outset via this "official gateway." The menu bar on the right expands as you select categories. For example, choose Arts & Culture and you'll see that you now have access to links to Archives & Libraries and, within that category, to Genealogy links. The first page under Government & Politics offers links to government offices, but keep drilling (by selecting Government) and you'll see the menu choices expand again to Central Government Administration, Defense, Law & Justice, County Administrations, Municipalities and more. So, bring your hardhat and power tools -- there is plenty to explore from the main menu if you have prospects in Sweden.

ZONA EUROPA

Most of us are looking for one-stop shopping for European news resources. Zona Europa has a good list of magazines, newspapers and television links, all organized by country. The magazine list is particularly handy. It even includes a few notations about the language you'll find when you get to the 'zine. The surprise is the number of business publications listed. Zona's home page offers you one more bonus -- a chance to connect to the sister site Zona Latina.
