E-CONFLICT WORLD
ENCYCLOPEDIA
A Web site educating you about the country from which your
prospect hails is a good tool to keep handy in your
international toolbox. E-Conflict's slogan -- "Eradicate
conflict by increasing cultural awareness" -- could be a
researcher's mantra. You will find history, economic
information and maps for each country and, at many of the
country pages, you'll find links to in-country news and
information. As an added bonus, you can listen to the
national anthems for many of the countries listed.

CANADA POST
The Postal Code Lookup page at Canada Post is a great tool
that you'll want to bookmark. Look up postal codes by
street address, for rural addresses and post office boxes,
or look up the range of addresses in a specific postal code.
After you select your language of choice, choose Find a
Postal Code from the main page of Canada Post.

POSTAL
& ADDRESSING ISSUES AROUND THE WORLD
Bob Osborne recommended this Web site to the PRSPCT-L
community earlier this year and it's a good one. Graham
Rhind (see his handsome photo at http://www.grcdi.nl/)
claims to have established the most complete address and
postal code site on the Web. He might be right because
there are hundreds of postal resources here for researchers.
Graham has been kind enough to note the language available
at each site, too. From the homepage choose Links to Other
Pages and then Postal Codes and Related Issues (the address
noted below) to reach links to post office pages around the
globe. After you explore post offices in exotic places,
visit Graham's Other Addressing Issues link to find his
commendable collections of language pages, telephone
directories and addressing formats links.
