The Japan Directory includes almost 10,000 links. It is updated daily. It is in English. Bring your drill, because you have to go deep when you explore directories, don't you? I picked Society, then Economy, and poof! I was delivered to Japanese Billionaires in 2003 (from Forbes, of course). The News & Media section has an interesting collection of newspapers, magazines, radio and television links. The Regional section has links to Japan's prefectures and Regions.
