CONTENTS: STEWARDSHIP CANADAIsn't it great to land at a site that employs a good array of advanced search features? You'll find that at Stewardship Canada's Funders Directory. Search for funders by keyword, application deadline, an alpha list, geographic focus, type of funder or eligibility. Profiles returned from your search are fairly rich, with contact information, funding priorities, application process, funding range (if available), and more. Join the RSS feed to get up-to-date information about new entries to the Funders Directory. Stewardship Canada's homepage has foundation news as well as a link to its news archive. The menu bar takes visitors to resources such as awards, Webcasts, and national initiatives. Other links from the menu lead to events and forums. http://www.stewardshipcanada.ca/ CANADA REVENUE AGENCYCanada's charities register here. You'll find both grantors and grantseekers. Perhaps what will be most intriguing for researchers is the option to review charities registered within the last 10 months and charities whose status has been revoked, suspended or penalized. Want to learn more about charity rules in Canada? The link to Operating a Registered Charity might be a good place to begin. http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tax/charities/menu-e.html FUNDERS ONLINEIt's been 10 years since we visited Funders Online in these e-pages. Can you believe that? My, time does fly. The European Foundation Centre offers this easy search for independent funders throughout the world. Use the homepage search tool to find funders by name, country or specific Website features such as annual reports, profiles, financial information and more. Or, even better, go to the advanced search tool where your options expand to subject interest area, geographic focus, population group and type of support. Other resources for Funders Online visitors include a Guide to Funding Research under the Grantseekers tab from the menu bar, a News Room and links to other philanthropic information providers.
