THE HUMOUR FOUNDATION (HF)

The Humour Foundation is a charity founded in 1996 by Palm Beach performer Jean Paul Bell and general practitioner Dr. Peter Spitzer to promote the health benefits of laughter. The core project is The Clown Doctors, bringing support, fun and laughter to hospital patients. Since 1996, HF has worked its way into the hearts of hundreds of patients in major hospitals in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with plans for further expansion around Australia. The Clown Doctors perform red-nose transplants, funny-bone checks and "cat" scans to help patients feel less fear and experience less trauma.

THE NATIONAL MOLE DAY FOUNDATION (NMDF)

The purpose of the NMDF is to get all persons, especially students, enthused about chemistry. Created in May 1991 by Maurice Oehler, a retired high school chemistry teacher from Wisconsin, membership in NMDF has grown to more than 3,000.

On October 23, 2003, NMDF will celebrate National Mole Day with the theme of Rock 'n' Mole. Check out Favorite Mole Day Jokes for gems like
