FINDLAW

You're going to learn a lot at FindLaw.com. Look for the boxes labeled Business Resources and Corporate Counsel on the home page.

From there, follow links to learn about business entities (corporations, partnerships, proprietorships, etc.), debt and bankruptcy, intellectual property, starting a business (for you entrepreneurs) and much more.

An interesting link in the Corporate Counsel box is Litigation Watch - Dockets. Search by Industry, Company Names or Stock Symbol to find court cases (past and present) involving companies you may be researching.

WHO OWNS WHAT IN MEDIA

Just in . . . discover who's responsible for what we see and hear in the media. Thanks to CJR (Columbia Journalism Review) you'll learn which radio and TV stations, book publishers, newspapers, magazines and entertainment enterprises are owned by which major media companies.

Use the search boxes to sort the list your way. I entered "Tucson" to find the major media companies with a presence in my city. However, "AZ" turned up just two hits for my state, while "Arizona" found eight, so experiment with your search terms.
