HOOVER'S
Check Hoover's home page from time to time for new features. Here are
some good ones:
* Ask the Editor
Each week Hoover's editors answer questions submitted by you –
although it's not clear on the Web site how to do this. I called Hoover's
and was told to submit questions using this e-mail address: update@hoovers.com.
The questions and answers are informative. One response is about a
company the Internet Prospector
featured last month, "Why is Mars, Inc. so
secretive?" In the sidebar, find the Best Known Companies, Newly
Updated Companies and fascinating tidbits under the heading, Did You
Know?
* Hoover's Most Viewed Companies
These are companies headquartered in 25 top metro areas. Click on a
company name to access Hoover's thumbnail profile, which includes a
link to the company's Web site. Companies can be searched nationwide
by industry.
