Did you know that African American women business owners are more likely than other women business owners to have altruistic goals in business ownership? According to a study underwritten by Wells Fargo, 92 percent cite "being a role model" as a goal, and 83 percent say "making a difference" in their communities through business ownership is a goal. You'll find links to fact sheets on African American and Latina business owners, and on women-owned and minority women-owned firms in 2002.
