KENTUCKY VITAL RECORDS
Internet Prospector, April '95
If every state had a site like this, our jobs would be so much easier. Searchable deaths from 1911-1992, marriages from 1973-93 (except for 1984-85) and divorces from 1973-1993.

VITAL RECORDS INFORMATION STATE INDEX
Internet Prospector, September '95
Your director wants a family tree? This site can help you find genealogical records by state and county. All sites provide contact address and phone and some also give email addresses. Some sites give lengthy descriptions of records available and the cost of obtaining them. All 50 states and some U.S. possessions are included at this site. In addition to the state and county record sites, there are links to local and national genealogy resources and state and local historical societies.

DEAD PEOPLE SERVER
Warning: this site features a terribly morbid sense of humor and if you're easily offended by death jokes, you may want to stay away. But it does feature an excellent list of celebrities, with dates of birth and death, as well as providing information on those who are still living but have been rumored to have died, or who have just been out of the spotlight for a while. It's kept very up-to-date -- Carl Perkins, who passed away on January 19, is listed, as is Jack Lord, who died on the 21st. (And this was written on the 22nd!)
