He recently made an $80 million donation to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, making him the institution's largest donor. Philip Berber, creator of a stock-trading software program, has sold his company. His new foundation will build an orphanage in Ethopia (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/000821/tx_a_glimm.html). More and more young entrepreneurs have, the article says, literally made more money than they know what to do with and are moving into careers as charitable organizers.
