THE PATHIT PATHOLOGIST'S WHO'S WHO GUIDE
"Colin Dexter and PD James have much to answer for. Mention the word
'Pathologist' and a doctor in a plastic apron enthusiastically demonstrating
a disembowelled corpse to an unappreciative audience of police officers
springs to the public mind."
(From the Web site of the Royal College of Pathologists http://www.rcpath.org/recruitment/index.html)
Mystery novels aside, pathologists are vital to the field of medicine,
helping to recognize and develop treatments of diseases.
For experts in the fields of Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, Industrial
Pathology and Veterinary Pathology, check out this "Rogue's Gallery," which
lists their degrees, specialties, contact info and, in some cases, photos,
hobbies, Web sites and publications.

NATIONAL FIRST LADIES LIBRARY
In a unique marriage of sorts, the National First Ladies Library
is linked to biographies of the 43 First Ladies (and to those of their
husbands, the U.S. Presidents) on the official White House site at www.whitehouse.gov.
The NFLL also provides bibliographic descriptions of over 40,000 resources
-- books, letters, articles and manuscripts -- for those researching
the lives of these fascinating women beyond what they wore and what kind
of china they picked out. The site came online on February 23rd, when Hillary
Clinton accessed her own bibliography at a press conference.
Also available at the site are bios of the Library's Executive Advisor
and two Vice Presidents.
The National First Ladies Library has a physical location in Canton, Ohio.
The research facility and educational center, the only one of its kind,
will be dedicated in June.
