If you're looking for wheelers and dealers in the high-tech or life sciences arenas, you will want to take a look at Forbes' Midas List. Some of the names you were following last year may have disappeared from the rankings due to economic setbacks.
The Midas List looks for venture capitalists and focuses on the market capitalization of a company on the close of its first day of trading (or an acquisition's purchase price). ELECTRONIC BUSINESS ONLINE CEO OF THE YEAR
Electronic Business Online named as its 2005 CEO of the Year Hector Ruiz, who became CEO of Advanced Micro Devices in 2002. A first-time CEO, he led the semiconductor company against a behemoth of a competitor: Intel.
