VITALOG.COM

This is an ambitious site, which advertises itself as a source of information on exceptional people from all times and regions of the world. You can browse for people by activity (profession), geography, nationality, religion or ethnicity. The site sure looks comprehensive. For example, under Buddhism you can search under Mahayana, Theravada, Tibetan or Zen Buddism. Nationalities include modern states (Andoran, Baharaini, Qatari) and historic states (Assyrian, Khiva, Urartu).

Before you get too excited about the level of detail, however, know that most of these categories are empty. In addition, some pages are plagued with software errors and cannot be opened.

Go ahead and try a name search. You will find the ubiquitous Bill Gates but, alas, not Intel co-founder Gordon Moore. Much of the information is historical, not much use to researchers. We can only hope that as this site grows, it will become more useful.

Click on Members. Members of The Horatio Alger Association are leaders of our society who are sports champions and entertainers, innovators and entrepreneurs as well as healers, teachers, artists and writers. Members are listed alphabetically or by class year. Click on a name for a detailed bio. Hey, I found a couple of my prospects here!
