Esquire's 36 best and brightest list includes people who are creating life from DNA, curing cancer and improving education. These aren't necessarily names you have heard, but they are making a difference and are giving us "reasons for hope." Somehow, the co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and the producer of Knocked Up got on the list, as well as a couple of "vandals of the year" (from Graffiti Research Lab).
